BEET HUMMUS

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cooked chickpeas

  • 1 cooked beet

  • 2 tbsp of tahini

  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1/2 tsp of cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, cooked beet, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. Process the ingredients until they are smooth and well-combined.

  3. Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning as needed.

  4. Serve the hummus with your favorite veggies, crackers, or pita bread. You can also use it as a spread on sandwiches or wraps.

  5. The hummus will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
