BEET HUMMUS
Ingredients:
1 cup of cooked chickpeas
1 cooked beet
2 tbsp of tahini
2 tbsp of lemon juice
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp of cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, cooked beet, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Process the ingredients until they are smooth and well-combined.
Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Serve the hummus with your favorite veggies, crackers, or pita bread. You can also use it as a spread on sandwiches or wraps.
The hummus will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
